Historically I've been impressed by case-mate products. The "Hula" case for the Moto-x phone was really brilliant. It fit exceedingly well, was made from high quality materials and looked it, without being flashy.This case is less good. The materials feel cheaper, the fit is ever so slightly loose, just enough that I'm concerned that if the smallest amount of dirt gets between the case and the phone that it will act like sandpaper. The side buttons are slightly loose and rattle. The iPhone has a reputation for being a very precisely made thing. The case that goes around it should match that quality.The little details that take a product from "ok" to "great" are missing from it. In the end I will either find a case that meets this standard, or I'll use the phone without one.
