The case is exactly as pictured, I don’t foresee it being very protective as it is a fairly thin case and doesn’t cover all edges (specifically the bottom of the phone is where it notches down). But so long as you aren’t throwing your phone around, it is an aesthetically pleasing case that offers some protection when dropped a few feet onto a wood floor.
