I've had this phone case for two years now. The case itself is basically three layers - the outer rubbery case (that actually has the ombre look on it), the thin/flexible plasticky glitter layer, then an inner plastic shell. The rubber grip is perfect for me and I've never had an issue with it. I've dropped my phone many of times, but have never cracked a screen. The inner plastic shell eventually cracked/chipped a few places, but maintains its structure. I'd honestly keep using this case, but after two years, the rubber layer is yellowed (non-smoker, so not sure if it was my hands, or the aging process). Can't really complain about that though, for the money and time it has last me! I'm getting my next one in either the turquoise or purple ombre...
